Episode 19.
THE PLOT TWIST! Of course this means things can only get better.

I caught a couple of S;G references in the latest episode

OH! That's why! Never thought that. Very good episode. We learn a lot. It looks like it will build to a big finish.

Episode 21.

Well I always wondered how they'd reach the finished robot we saw in episode 1, but they sure had us there. Aki's reaction there was weirder than it was cute.

Well there is he is playing against someone named STEINGMA. I don't know what MA is but I picked out the STEIN G part.
Then there is the name S Braun. If you know I know Braun but who is the S Braun they are referencing?

Finale was kind of ehhhhh. It was good, but with all the buildup the series had for this episode, I was kind of disappointed :-\ The threat was stopped... but then what? No closure with anything, at all. It was still a great series, though.

Final thoughts:
Steins;Gate > Robotic;Notes

Oh the ending was so so. It's wasn't anything special and it was somewhat expected. Cute nonetheless.

7/10 overall.

^ I cannot make a comparison yet to Steins;Gate. I have yet to finish it. ;o

I was very disappointed with this one. It would have been hard to match the sheer awesomeness of Steins;Gate, but I was hoping it would at least come close... instead, it felt pretty generic, the pacing was abysmal (almost everything happened in the last few episodes, and the rest were really slow), and the story itself (when it finally actually got properly started) was just unoriginal, and completely uninteresting. That said, some of the characters were great, the animation and the setting were quite nice, and it did manage to keep me looking forward to the next episode each week.

Overall, I give it 5/10. Completely average. Not good, but definitely not bad either.

Good fansub to watch this from? I'm looking at WhyNot.

HorribleSubs has the most fitting use of font in my opinion.

I kind of expected something super epic to happen at the end and was extremely disappointed when nothing happened. I mean, a 6-7 episode build up for the final part of the series just so they can shut down our hopes of having something epic? Really disappointed.

Seeing how they -the ones doing the anime adaptation- couldn't do much at the last episode after the build up of the previous episodes, I am guessing that this anime suffered from the same problem that Chaos;Head did, which is finding difficulty of adapting certain elements from the original material into the anime medium but to a lesser extent than the first series. I haven't played the original VN for Robotics;Notes (It was an exclusive X360/PS3 release, so I don't expect to find any fan translations plans around) but I can already imagine you can make use of many things through the idea of having AR in the game's mechanics which aren't doable in anime medium. At the very least the adaptation this time around didn't cut too many corners as they had a sufficient amount of episodes to put the story into, which made it possible to keep watching Robotics;Notes until its end.

For the ones who watched this after watching Steins;Gate, yes it was a slight disappointment in comparison, but if the author is going to make more science adventure stories, we can only hope for something that matches or exceeds the level that Steins;Gate was and is also easily adaptable into the anime medium.

I really want to see an ultimate victory or defeat of the committee of 300  :-\
