Yeah, Ayumu is screwed, Gaia makes laugh of him all the time. As for the Megalo's

-In the first episode of Season One we meet Haruna fighting a Megalo, Ayumu stole her magic by his simple presence, and ever since then Ayumu was the target of Megalo's.
-In the last episode Haruna got some mana from Eu, now Ironically there are 2 Megalo's.

Point being:
Megalo's are attracted to Magic, but they never come close to Eu directly, so it's not really a matter of magic.

Conclusion:
Masou Gear is directly attracting Megalo's.

Drunken Fairy is not directly involved with Megalo's but she is directly involved with Sensei and Haruna, and now Ayumu.That's my thoughts by merging what we know from S1 and what happens in S2 so far.

Spoiler posted by Joonas earlier definitely suggests that the drunken fairy is definitely going to be a big player in this season.

But she doesn't seem to be directly involved yet, I suppose she is observing the situation, and I definitely love her for some reason (probably cuz I like booze as well) but for the time being, she waits patiently. Probably for Sensei's move.

She is a very cute drunk ^_^  But I think she might be related to the number of megalos turning up at the school, especially the squid one as Ayumu found it in the room where she normally is, at the least it might have been there after her scent.
