I don't know how people could actually waste so much time on facebook. I have an account there, but I solely use it for communicating with the people in my dorms. (Kinda perverted tho... I mean, we could just go and ask)

If I were to surmise, it's like a playground to them.

I don't know if it's just me but the internet seems alot smaller. It seems like if I'm not on facebook I'm downloading torrents. I remembe when I was a kid the internet seems like such a unexplored place now I'm bored out of my mind. Anyone else having that problem?

I found your problem, get out of FB and start exploring the internet.

Well whats your suggestion then, I hit up most anime sites and they always advertise the same mainstream anime and there forums generally are dead. I don't play online game unless i'm super bored cus i have a buttload of game systems. So I'm taking on sites request.

don't double post.
As for your problem; we have this wonderful site nowadays that lets you search throughout the internet for whatever you want, I'd try using it if you get bored.  Of course you may require some imagination or ingenuity, so it may be beyond you.

...you know, I don't really mean to be a jerk, but it's so hard to resist when I see these "plz halp I'm not smart enough to think for myself" threads

its not a problem its called you have more knowledge and know what you want and where to get it instead of foraging on the interwebs

Ha well I can appreciate constructive criticism, I wasn't looking for advise to start with I was posing a simple question of is the internet seeming small due being repetitive. You can google a trillion thing and still end up on the same site. Anime sites still going to post the same shows and believe it or not forums are a dying breed. Since people said other wise I asked for a simple point me in that direction since I happen to be the only guy to see things that way. If your on the same site 12x a day because you can't think of anywhere to go (excluding porn) then the internet is small for you, just saying.

Go to 2ch, or 4ch if you can't read/speak Jp.
But yea, it has gotten smaller . . . and overcrowded too. Psh.
People who lived under the cave from the late 1990s to the early 2000 wouldn't be able to feel this harsh change. ;)
It's just that way, lol.

I been to them before I think didn't they have like several other ch sites also. Ha seems like i been on the internet since day one. Playing games on cartoon network as a kid. Watch yahoo actually become a well known site. I tried so many mmorp's that i'm sure my name is apart of over a dozen different servers. I'm sure someone will make something new and great for me to pay with soon but until then it look like I turned over all the interesting rocks already.

Enlarge your internet, clinically proven, now for free!

I have a question regarding the trial for the enlarger. You guys sent me one a day for a week, and today I had an update lasting longer than 4 hours. Should I call my ISP?

Hello dear customer,
there's no need to worry, the long lasting updates are a normal consequence of the huge, massive data packages our internet enlargement program involves. Be sure our router data pump depicted here:
(click to show/hide)
is always connected to an USB port and its data rate meter is on the green spot.
You may notice the ADSL led blinking arhythmically after the longer updates, but our professional tech team (sponsored by a notorious Nigerian noble family which invested several fantastillion dollars in our company after they had some inheritance issues) assures you in the actual testings this has been proven to lead to total connection failure only in rare cases.

The internet does indeed feel small, in my 10 years of surfing i've only been like to what 300 sites in my lifetime? Not once have i remised on a "legendary" or "epic" site expect for a few anime centric ones, the disturbing lack of tournament gaming sites has really put procrastination to shame, thats how bad it is right now.
Did you know Satan was supposedly gods RIGHT HAND MAN, not his left. Blows your theory out of the water now doesn't it.

I am fairly certain we stick to only a fair number of sites, which is ultimately quite small compared to the Internet as a whole.

Fortunately, that wasn't the case some 12 or 13 years ago.

I found a couple good ones that was relevant for it time but other then nothing worth mentioning except for the few exceptions of torrent sites that have a wide variety of things for me to download such as this one and kat. I was a member when it comes to games some pvp are ok but if they really want to hit a strong market make a downloadable pack for me and I'll hit your server on my ps3. I guess to expand my internet like I have to gain some more interest like dropping weight or "data enlargement" that I see has picked up interest here o_O.

Who among you guys miss the feeling of being so darn desperate to watch a specific anime, let's say Angel Sanctuary, which you only knew through fansites; but you just can't find any site streaming it or hosting it for DDL? LOL. I remember myself lurking 'round the internet, trying to gather as much information as I can about my favorite anime because I cannot afford to get myself an original copy with English subs (I was only in elementary back, then I think?); nor there were any sites that stream or host it. Fortunately, there were a lot, and I mean a damn lot of informative fansites back then. I think, that may actually be the reason I thought the interwebs seemed larger before.

Forums back then were REALLY active too.

Nostalgia.

Definitely, I used to search for cartoons and anime all day and never find anything except pictures and some post. It took me years to find shadow skill before like a week later it was streaming. I guess I'd be more content if forums I knew wasn't falling out of play left in right but it's like they all or dead or super mainstream that I lose interest.

Keyword in blue. New things pop up when least expected.
Also, speeds were much slower back then and much of the content would have been nearly all text, perhaps with dull coloring.

you're only isolating yourself in facebook and torrent sites, thats your problem.

theres a crap ton of other games floating around the internet, a huge majority of them are junk but what? 1% of a million is still thousands, as if you'd be able to manage to play all that.

and this is only one part of the internet, theres social websites, chat sites, online-market, auction sites, forums, review sites, torrent sites, and the list goes on plus it's growing by the minute.

theres also underground websites thats practically hundreds of folds larger than the surface internet, this includes porns, military sites, government sites, illegal sites, torrent sites even.
