"X is single" is facebook. This isn't facebook. You post, you want to talk about it or something. You post, yet you don't wan't to talk about it at all, then something went wrong along the way. Right the wrong. Talk dirt about the person, say how you'll miss the person, say how a pidgeon crapped on your hat today, but for crying out loud, don't just post current status.

Thanks for proving my point. This isn't about sympathy. Why are you or would be sorry for? All information present is "I broke with gf". Well. Good for FB, bad for forum. You either want to share or not.
Lack of information is bad and boring. People showing sympathy for the sake of showing sympathy are not the nicest kind either.
But don't take it personally, just saying whatever comes to mind. Plus, I'm delivering certain balance to the Force right now.
