I still think Sorata aka Kouhai-kun loves both Aoyama and Mashiron. So I am glad it is not resolved. I think he needs to know more. I think that if he decided on one or the other, he would find regret more than anything else. Because there is still the other one that he didn't get to know better hanging over his head. He does not know how to have a romantic, going to go get married live happily ever after married life with Mashiron. How do you find love with someone like that, he is wondering. Aoyama is still problematical for reasons you and I know all about. But she is a very hard worker, and is a dream to look at. plus she cares deeply about those whom she cares most about. But now we know Mashiron works just as hard, and cares just as deeply.

But really, if Aoyama insists on taking herself out of the picture, she really shouldn't be doing things that will make Sorata fall in love with her all the more, no?

All of a sudden I feel I am re-writing my Final Exam paper that I have yet to complete this week. It is the battle of Britomart and Radigund from Edmund Spenser's Faerie Queene. It is a battle between two women. Britomart is the daughter of Britain and of the Roman god Mars. Guess who fills that role here in this anime? Yeah, Mashiron. How else would you describe her ability to do such fine art, other than to say that it is godlike? Radigund is an Amazon. She has taken the man who would be Britomart's husband and enthralled him. Put him in prison. Both have developed feelings for the man, Artegall, which translates into Arthur's equal. Arthur being King Arthur of Round Table legend. You see this all happens in Faerie Land, and also long before king Arthur's reign.

Anyway, the battle between the two women is a cat fight. They lose all of their fighting abilities, and just hack away at each other. A bit of mysogyny by the author I believe. And Britomart beheads Radigund in an unchivalrous manner. Whoops! Bad form there girl.

He could still say much the same thing to Aoyama. Just for different reasons. I think if they want to, they can make it go either way. This could depend upon what the audience response that they are getting. They may hate Aoyama enough to axe that idea.

The point is they won't. They pretty much axed that idea when she confessed to him and he went to Mashiron. You notice everytime she gets close to him emotionally he runs or goes to Mashiron. There is no Kanda x Aoyama. It's a good thought, but not what's going to happen.

Mashiro confessed to Sorata at the end of volume 7. She says, "Even if you are in love with Nanami, I love you."

Another novel of drama in volume 8 follows, which I didn't have time to read in detail, BUT at the end of volume 8 Sorata confesses to Mashiro and admits that he loves her. He keeps repeating that he loves her, and they eventually kiss.

Not sure of validity, but it sounds legit. I'll try to find the LN's and match.

Well fine! Actually I have been hoping things would work that way since the first episode.

Oh right,, you hate Nanamin. Otherwise I was going to ask if you didn't like it when Misaki was saying Nanamin is probably bawling her eyes out already, camera goes to Nanamin who has big fish eyes with running rivers out of them. I thought it was pretty good.

Actually Dragon said that and I love that shot. It was equally as great.

Great series. I was not expecting anything of this caliber at all when I read the synopsis. A second season would be nice.

The ending was a big letdown to such a degree that it makes me almost regret starting this series. Sigh.

This show turned out so much better than I expected at first. I was on the verge of dropping it at around episode 5 or 6, because it just seemed like a boring ecchi harem anime whose main selling point was a hot, mentally ill girl who conveniently kept forgetting to wear clothes. Very glad I stuck with it though, because it got so much better later on.

It was a bit overdramatic at times, but overall, the story was great, the characters were great (once they'd been developed a bit. Most of them were annoying to begin with, but changed into genuinely interesting people as the show went on), and it was a good watch. Never amazing, but definitely good, especially towards the end. I give it 6/10 overall.

Also, speaking of the end, introducing two new characters in the final episode? I smell a sequel coming...

I like rori's subs, I hate CoalGirls stupid subs .. but the BDs are beautiful. I hope someone can do a more proper way on BDs ... fuck, I really hope someone does the BDs instead of CGs.

Aside from that. This is an awesome show! On episode 5. <3 Shiina.

Couldn't agree anymore with you ... Rori subs are way better. There are few grammar errors here and there but that's expected in a TV series. Is FF8 doing this? I'd love for him to do this with Rori subs and if he can make few adjustments to it.

I'm on episode 12. This is so damn good. Toradora-like with so much excitement! I'm glad the Artist (she's a girl, btw) didn't implement chibi characters in the comedy scenes. I hate seen those.

The series was addicting until the last few episodes. I felt personally like they went uphill too quickly and the only place left for them to go was down. Though as everyone else keeps saying, there might be a Season 2.

Best characters (mains, secondaries and backgrounds), animation, story, colors, background images, places and the plot was so superior and everything about it! Everything about it is pure awesome. I love stories that keep moving forward and struggle through downfalls. Coming of Age genre is one of the best things, ever. God ... I want more ... so much more ...

So here is my question before I go to sleep and start dreaming ..
