Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo
Tatsujin:
Talking about Otakus? I wanna see pictures of real Japanese otakus ...
And those comments on the Amazon page is just stupid. They're throwing a fit for one scene? Well, that should teach the developers not to freaking do shit like that again.

Easy: outsourcing to Korean animation studios to save money (and probably lack of staff as well). No Japanese studio would probably be crazy enough to piss off their fanbase.
But, in this age where everything must be as cheap as possible and where animation studios rarely get the budget they need to do everything in-house, especially if they lack the personnel they'd like, it's a risk they're willing to take.
Bob2004:
Actually it's probably because K-pop is fairly popular in Japan at the moment, so most likely the artist happened to see a poster for some K-pop group and based it on that. I think most studios - though certainly not all - do all the keyframe animation in-house, and then outsource the drawing of the frames in between. So the backgrounds etc are generally all drawn by the Japanese studio. Generally.
Not sure about the Korean food, but again - Korean food is hardly uncommon in Japan, so most likely the scriptwriter just happened to have recently been to a Korean restaurant and decided to use that. I don't remember the scene at all though, so who knows.

The whole thing is just ridiculous.

No, it's definitely due to outsourcing. At least, that's how it went for Henneko, not sure about Sakurasou, though I heard that was a more conscious decisions (hence why no one openly said anything about it).
Either way, it's ridiculous how people can get so up in arms about it, to the point where they want to ruin it for others and those directly involved).
