I don't mind that as long as they portray the story in an interesting way.

For me, it's more like Toradora. Fun moments with some drama between friends.

i don't think taking bets is neccessary, i wouldn't even call this a harem at this point... only two of the girls actually serioursly like him that way, and i know he's not going to go for childhood friend
