Well if you love girls and guns you can't go wrong with Upotte!, I don't know why people hate it so much.

I mean if you don't like fan service than don't complain about an anime whose cover girls have dangerously short miniskirts and have body parts as guns components. If your fanservice didn't get a reading than it is maybe not working.

Well, I love guns and Jisuri is my raifu. After all I served with that girl for a year. I really wish they made a second season.
For one thing, Tiff is not on any level what I would call a typical American.  She's not what I would consider a typical person.  I don't know any other genius geneticist anime-fan martial artist marksman model-level beauties, do you?

A German I see  ;D

Yes a second season would be great, currently I am reading the manga scanlated and at the end of each chapter they have the picture of a Swiss girl in stockings hold a Sigu for their call for donations ;D

Here I found it

As if Germans are the only ones who use the G3...

I knew nothing of the outside world. I was just a frog in a well.

For the exception of aircraft, my country almost exclusively buys Scandinavian and German military hardware. Besides when I used Jisuri (G3), Budeswehr already switched to G36 and just a few years ago we became the only country to adopt HK416 as our standard issue rifle.

So no, I am not German.

Also dumping a random GIF because it's thread related.

Everybody else almost always use AKs and ARs, so not a bad odds to assume that He is German.

Then I will assume you are an American because of that stereotypical view of yours. In Europe the vast majority of national armies have a standard issue rifle that others don't. If you have watched Upotte, you should have already figured as much.

Not a bad bet, but I am not American.  ;D

A lot of countries have homegrown rifles, but the AR and AK variants hold the lion share of the market, even those who have homegrown rifles still use one of the two big as service rifles.

The snob factor is getting pretty high here, dudes don't get your panties in a knot.

No, they don't have to be homegrown, not for smaller countries anyway. What I meant is the peculiar thing where service rifle may even be made by the same company, but different countries use different models as their standard rifle. The cold war and AR vs AK dominance has long since passed. Today diversity is the keyword on small arms market and it's a wonder that we don't see even more diverse ammunition types as well.

There is a diversity in small arms models currently, but the AR and AK are still most widely used, my country armed forces use AK rifles, everything from AKM, AK-47 and AK-74, some special forces in the armed forces use FNC and M16 because they train with Americans but it is a minority.

Just go through the list below and most countries have AK and AR variants among their service rifles.

You can't have more diverse ammo types because of standardization , both NATO and Warsaw Pact, makes logistics much more easier.

Anyone else find it strange how, in the earlier episodes, the school is Co-ed (you actually see dudes) but as the anime progresses, it seems to evolve into an all girls school.

What happened to all the guys? XD

Craaazy.

Given how the sole male teacher gets treated in the show, that actually wouldn't surprise me.

Well, there is professor Garand and principal Springfield who are the only weapons that are guys...

I so want to make a weapon suitcase with a pic of Jisuri on it for my G3. It would be like the the best tribute for her <3
