Personally I hardly believe she HAS any amnesia at all. If you consider what transpired in episode 2 and at the end of episode 1 you just might get what I mean.

Also, the pacing of first episode was perfect, you probably didn't notice the several things that happened there and what was also shown in the episode 2.

The fact that Yuuko is in reality quite an ominous existence.
Hint one: I'll skip a few things in episode 1 but at the end of if ep 1 you can evidently see Yuuko on the roof with a big ass angry shadow.
Hint two: actually quite a lot of them, Yuuko is being shown in a lulzy way in her ominous state, but when he stands in front of the mirror you can see the evil Yuuko there, her ominous self is visible throught the episode actually several times. And the rumors start somewhere, Yuuko is the cause of all of them.

 

Inb4, i did not read the source material (yet) but i wonder how correct I am.

First episode was very informative, second just explained how it all started there.

Having amnesia is one thing, but knowing how cell phones work without asking about it means she doesn't really have amnesia. She probably didn't care about it till then. I'm sure she doesn't know WHO locked her in that room though and that is what she will try to uncover.

I'm liking this show quite a lot, I really hadn't expected anything much, but it's actually been pretty good so far. Yuuko is a great ghost.

Not really. She presumably woke up as a ghost with amnesia - not remembering anything about who she was or how she died. That doesn't mean she can't remember anything that happened since she became a ghost either, since she clearly can. Wandering round a school, you're obviously going to see loads of people with phones, so it's not exactly strange that she figured out what they are - even though she probably died before they became commonplace anyway.

I doubt that, although the uniform did change fairly, the usual change in uniforms is "usually" ( i used that word often in this post) every 10 years. Something about hefty anniversaries. But the change was not that big. Although I would be much more interested in this show (not that I am not interested, I like it quite a bit) if it was only about her messing around with the students. i mean, come on! How cool would that be ?

I would probably sit and laugh madly every episode seeing her fooling around with some random person's belongings like she did in episode 1. THAT would be pretty damn hilarious for me

episode 3 was just wow, i don't have words for it but i didn't quite understand actually.
so there is a second form of yuuko? the normal we see every episode (human form) and full of hatred and regret form (dead form)
that part i don't quite understand :X

According to the rumor there was a girl that died at the founding of the school, and there is the shrine in the basement. According to his theory, Yuuko is just the victim of the grudge, she is involved, but not in the malicious way. She seems connected to the grudge in the way of being it's victim, nothing else. It's possible that Yuuko was dying and gained the spectral form of herself only because she shared some of the regret, but she doesn't seem to share that much of it. I mean, if you look at it this way, someone locks you in a basement not telling you anything, and no one comes to help you. Anyone would hold a small grudge, and Yuuko was near the hidden shrine, that could have amplified the effect and had allowed Yuuko to stay as a ghost.

At the end of the episode 1 we seen a writhing malice in Yuuko's shadow, it could be her's but it could be that the actual malice is just hiding in her shadow. It's clear that at some points Yuuko is overpowered by lust, it could be the effect of the other grudge.

At the end of Episode 3 you can clearly see there is another presence in the shadow. What he saw was exactly what the girl described, and Yuuko being a spirit she takes the form of what people see her as, as it was explained 3 times already. At this point all other rumors seem to be correct when you take all this into account with the girl that died at the funding of the school at the hidden shrine. Yuuko's only connection was that she somehow managed to remain as a ghost. Also Yuuko clearly explained that now that he mentioned it, she wants to know how and why she died.

At this point the curse the oblivious girl placed on herself was real enough that she felt the presence on her back, but on the other hand, knowing what we learned in this episode, it's possible that the original presence was the other wraith, and for some reason Yuuko's and his intervention removed or postponed the curse effect.

Great episode nonetheless.

Whoa.  On a whim I downloaded the manga for this one and I can say that this is FANTASTIC.

I can't believe how scary it actually manages to be, too.
