Hey, there can't be anything wrong with a guy who quotes Pokemon as part of his campaign.
I should rephrase tho, I think Santorum was not only hillarious but also dangerous. For everyone inside and outside of US. Kind of like Bush on Jesus-meth.
I wouldn't call eating a meat product "Killing animals for amusement" tho.

And why not? They were killed just so that you can eat them and the only reason you eat them is because you like it. Am I missing anything?

I take my consumption of meat very seriously, thank you.
Edit - actually, I take that back. I do occasionally find myself cackling insanely as I stand in the grocery store poking a package of hamburger repeatedly.

Well I'd rather not get into the evolution thing again, but people are after meat, it's kind of their nature. You can survive without it just fine, sure. You can survive without washing your whole life too and most people don't call it using up water for amusement. We now have millions of pigs, cows and chicken and their whole purpose is to die and be eaten. No amusement is involved.
I'm basically a vegentarian, but still.

Not washing yourself would be unhealthy. Not eating meat would still be healthy. Your comparison doesn't apply.
And I see no dichotomy between "we breed millions of pigs, cows and chicken just for our culinary amusement" and "in the process we also kill them for our amusement".
@Ixaeku I'm saying "amusement" as a synonym of "entertainment" or "enjoyment" or "fun".
