If anything I'll rent the game at the library on PS3 and complete the campaign. They usually have some good ones. MW3 had the advantage of ending a story that two games had built while I presume BO's will be a new one.

Black Ops 2 will likely be new because how can they create anymore off of the ending of the first?

I hope they do WWII Black Ops shit... Hell, I'll even take a story line that is similar to RtCW.

And what an incredibly weak and uninspired ending that was! I was seriously excited to play and felt so let down afterwards. The first two MW did a much better job of setting up the story then MW3 did at ending it.

That aside, I look forward to seeing what the new story line will be for BO2. I don't think there is much room to create a direct sequel so it will be interesting to see which direction they go.

I think I misspoke here. Yes, Black Ops took place during the Cold War but it centered around the Vietnam War. What I meant to say was, I hope it focuses more on the proxy wars we fought such as Afghanistan vs the Soviet Union and various covert missions.

I've beat Black Ops twice btw. I just didn't clarify what I meant properly.

I knew you've played it... I was just pulling your chain. I do hope they do other parts of the Cold War too. Not too many games touch on Cold War tactics or backstory even though it is quite easy to make up a storyline for a videogame shooter (The original BO has had the greatest single player out 5 of the past CoDs).

BO was definitely much more engaging in the single player campaign.
Characters were memorable as well. Reznov, Dimitri and the funny and lovable Mister Ice Cube.
While as MW was all about this Price and the gang with a guy named Soap in it, a Russian who got his arm shot off by Price, and another Russian who Price has a thing for. To be honest, it was all about Price.
