Who systematically kill babies born with disability.

Wait a sec, how is that a bad thing?

That is common on several cultures.
Burk shouldn't force his culture into others and shouldn't think his culture is better than the others one because this kind of though led to genocides on the past.

Ignore Pharismo. I mean sure it is a very crude way to practice eugenics, since abortions would be more acceptable in "fine societies". However on a grand scale of things allowing only healthy specimens to live is a simple way to keep the whole species healthier. Nothing good will come out if we allow our species to be degenerated by genetic mistakes like those with down syndrome, etc...

Not to mention the pragmatic approach to cheaper universal healthcare. Healthy people born means less resources wasted on degenerates.

Now, while I do not oppose the injection of a bit of chlorine in the gene pool. I am not aware of there being any modern country that legally allows "Mercy killing" of children.

While I don't oppose some form of soft eugenic, killing babies after they are born definitely doesn't meet the definition of "soft".

In either case it is once again a government's fault that people severely lack nourishment and thus are degenerating. For example average height of a south Korean is higher than that of a North Korean.

Not only theyr  government fault because it has an economic embargo from USA and it make harder for North to develop and feed they're population. North is trying to develop and he is focusing on the military development since it is what bring new technology(remember cold war?) and protect the government from others forces. If north korea didn't develop they're military its current government would be removed by force from USA once China stopped to protect it or can't protect it since USA would make pressure on China to stop protecting it. North korean government is doing what it need to do to survive and we know that economic embargo doesn't work to bring the government down.

This culture of killing babies is one thing that NK need to do to survive and won't stop doing it while they lack of food. They won't change they're views on this because there are several reasons to do it: cultural, lack of food, difficulty to survive since it will be one more mouth to feed and one more person to raise. While they're closed to the world nothing will change. The economic embargo helps the government to close it country to others.

So many "if", "then", "maybe", "what if", when we have another country is a similar situation and it does things very differently.

Not to mention the obvious problem with blaming everything on the American Embargo when NK shares a border with fricking China. I mean it's not like NK doesn't have any trade opportunity. No if NK does things wrong it's their own damn fault.

Indeed, Pharismo you are retarded if you think that food shortage can be blamed on USA. Last time I checked, USA did not grow and export rice (in any significant amount). In fact North Korea would be able to produce food if they weren't stupid enough to build their "glorious" dam that flooded their best agricultural fields.

Actually, you are wrong on this one. USA is an important rice producer. I know there are huge rice farms in Louisiana. I don't what the export stats are but almost every brands when I go to the supermarket have "Product of USA" written on them.

You are right the rest though. I don't know that anything is stopping NK from growing their own food.

What i meant was that NK suffers from economic embargo and that make things harder for them. Thats what i meant and i think you didn't notice it mr retarded.  Did i blame everything on USA? No, i just said that the economic embargo make things harder.
Remember Iraq embargo? Did it made things harder for the population?

Cuba different from NK went to develop the population basic needs, which are health system and food. Different from NK which went with military development.

Now if NK didn't had the economic embargo it  could it sell its military production and buy food with its money? I think NK has difficulty for selling it since it can't, not sure about this. I'm pretty sure there would be customers for they're weapon.

China and Russia do not have any embargo against NK. In fact, their relation with NK is excellent, and they are 2 of the 3 countries sharing a landborder with NK. China has the second biggest army in the world.

Not to mention the obvious, that if USA are more than justified to want to stop NK from selling FRICKING MILITARY EQUIPMENT. I mean come on, think about it! It's an openly hostile nation and they have the nuclear weapon. Just think of how much trouble it could give america if, for example, NK decided to sell nukes to al qaeda.

And yes you are perfectly right that NK decided to go military all the way instead of thinking about its people. That's why they suck asses so much.

2 resolutions about the economic embargo of NK. What it says? NK cant sell or buy a lot of military equipment, so they are developing military equipment but they can't sell it. And i'm pretty sure Russia and China won't buy from them but may allow it transit on they're country.
Sure some African countries or even American countries would buy the military equipament but they can't since the economic embargo works on NK on these matter.
So it does make things harder as i'm saying. And NK does have fear about another war, but we need to see how this new lider will behave, because he didn't show any sign that will go against the old elite but he could behave different from his father while keeping the old elite as his allies.

North Korea prefers to produce weapons than food, relying instead on international humanitary organisations to feed their people but what am I thinking? Of course it's not their own fault if their people is starving it's totally the fault of evil America who don't want them to sell weapons to other rogue states. And all this time I thought the NK government was the bad guys but their intentions were pure, all they wanted was to provide the world's craziest leaders with the means to innocently kill as many people as possible.  ::)

Woa, I stand corrected. Didn't consider that parts of USA have a climate in which rice can be grown.

Actually Russia banned export of their advanced weapons to to NK in 2006 when they joined UN resolution of arms embargo. In fact a while ago I read an article where Russian intelligence agencies have several times intercepted Russian nuclear scientists that were hired by NK government.

Also are you saying "oh poor North Korea, they can't sell their obsolete guns and it is everyone else's fault"? Seriously, we are talking about weapons here, hardly a market that nations have a basic human right to be a part of.

Did UN embargo food on North Korea? Didn't think so.

If NK sells it weapons it can buy food with the money from the selling, it is an option since NK is developing weapons and you didn't notice it.

Well, they could earn shitload of cash simply by connecting the trans-siberian railroad with South Korea. In fact it would also be so profitable to Russia, that I am sure they would have built that railroad in in NK themselves.

They have natural resources, they have cheap labour if anything.

Besides nobody will buy NK weapons anyway even without the arms embargo. Because NK weapon technology sucks balls. You can get much better stuff from Russia very cheaply if you don't want to spend the cash for the really expensive toys from western corporations.
