It won't. They aren't made to last, they're made to be cheap to produce.

I'm willing to bet dust can kill an Xbox a lot faster than it naturally dying (aka, the Disc drive failing or the harddrive).

Maybe if you weren't using it...

Well, it's not like the 360 needed dust to be prone to heat issues.
