What's your daily commute like?

Alarm goes at 07:00... I usually drag myself out of bed anywhere between 07:15 and 07:45 depending. During my waking up, switch on the TV to watch the breakfast news. Shower, wash up, brush my teeth prior to 08:00, at which point I get into the car, and drive for some 20 to 25 minutes before ending up at work. Only some 15 miles from my house, but trafficlights and city driving take their time.

Yep. Shore duty (so I won't be on a ship). I'm going to NBVC Point Mugu (aka NAS Point Mugu), which is about 40min from my parents' house. So I'm going from being about as far away as I can get (Japan) to being about as close as you can get.
[edit]I'm currently in Pensacola, Florida going through the FAA certified (oooh, ahhhh) DASR (a radar) and STARS (a radar video distribution and recording system) courses. AND I FUCKING HATE THIS PLACE.
