Friendship is magic. Friendship is not math. Conclusion: Math cannot be magic. Everypony knows that.

But there is a part of that rant I agree with. Math teachers usually suck badly and manage to push kids into hating math in early age. You can make anything look boring and ugly if you try hard enough. Math teachers mastered that art.

I acknowledge the possibilities of math, and I'm sure I could have use for it over the years.

I have tried to be better, I tried in folkeskole, I tried in realskole and even got some extra hours there, I tried in 9th and 10th grade as well with extra help there too. Help I even took extra classes at a school right after 10th to get better grades although that fell apart due to a bad class. Then I tried again 2-3 years and you know what I found out?

Math bores the shit out of me. I don't think it's interesting. Numbers don't makes me say "wow, this is really some interesting stuff, I want to learn more". I get that feeling with language and history, not numbers. Sure, I did some assignments because we had to, but most of it I had help with. My head just doesn't like numbers so it's even harder for me to get math, and what do you do when you're faced with something you're just not good at? You quit. If you like it despite not being good at it, I can imagine someone continuing. But bad and to boot not enjoying it?

I'll never be good at math, and I am fine with that. I am good at several other things.

That's not really good comparisation. Math isn't about forming opinions or based on personal preferences. Also, noone forces you read all of the most boring and long books to pass school.
And face it, most of math you can run into in schools is bad. Offered to people who don't want it by people who are bored, boring and don't care. "Math hate" is deeply rooted and you can't say it's really unreasonable too.
And don't be bad on ponies, it will all return to you three times.

I'm not jumping anywhere, it's just that "Math doesn't suck, you do." is rather shortsighted statement. Unless you are a math boy. Which was the point. As I said math is not about opinions, but how interesting it is ... is an opinion as much as opinions get. If people saying that math sucks make you slightly annoyed, reversing it to math is cool, if you dislike it, you suck - is not the best way to put it, unless we are all 5 years olds.

Why are there so many morons here? Math is a tool free to be used to solve various problems. Why do people hate a tool that is designed to help us? It makes just as much sense as saying "screwdrivers suck". Well... sure, don't mind me and the fact that even subconsciously you use math to some degree every day.
