Set in a world where history has taken a slightly different course from the one we're familiar with, K follows the story of a young boy whose life is caught in a psychic war between seven kings.

Ashinaka High School is known for its unique setting: the entire campus is built on an island. Yashiro Isana, aka Shiro, is having lunch with a cat on one of the school rooftops. After his lunch break, Shiro goes on an errand for his classmate Kukuri to prepare for their upcoming school festival, only to be chased by some intimidating-looking men.

As far as the YT videos are concerned, I really liked the contrast between the two videos. The first focused on people and the second purely on environments. Both videos were set to the same great music.

For some reason I kept thinking about all the time I spent playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on the Playstation with my friends back in the day. That made me pretty nostalgic. Then I contemplated if I actually wanted to watch a show about skateboarding. I'm not sure if I do. Then again, if there is more to it then that, I may give it a try.

Something about those videos got me intrigued even if the subject matter may not be one I am particularly interested in.

after watching the pv's again it looks like this is gonna be about a group of individuals fighting those student council looking (probably yaio) guys with swords. nut sure what the girls' parts are but that chick with different colored eyes is obviously instruemental, maybe an inbetweener between the groups? just speculating atm, looks like its gonna be good.

still can;t get over the awesomeness of that guy fighting with his skateboard

oh lol i guess shounen ai would be a subtler way of putting it but yaio is still for gay right? people use yuri all the time so i supposed it was just like using that...

yaoi is gay indeed, more used in HentaiXXX, shounen ai is boy love more used in (yuck)anime, the lighter stuff like kissing.. etc.

ah, makes sense.

and yea havoc i think those that love mainly male cast will love this, but it still looks pretty good to me despite that (not only because of the skater but it also looks like it will have some pretty cool battles)

watched first episode today, visuals are amazing, on par with fate/zero, and so far story seems interesting, though its definitely a sausage fest, a couple girls and like 50 guys. fun...

i agree with this statement.

on a side note; there was a scene near the end that confused me. well, not confused but i questioned... assuming everyone has watch the first ep already. where did the button come from that he cut off or whatever?

This series has insane potential. I was blown away by the visuals. Long as this doesn't go full-blown shounen-ai, I'll be sticking with this til the end.
