I thought about just adding this to the things that amuse you thread, but this isnt really about things that amuse you, its just those little things in life that make you smile.

Example-
Waking up in the morning with nothing to do, my two dogs waiting at the foot of my bed with wagging tails waiting to start the day (food and walks) and then going outside to find that its just absolutely beautiful out.
You just know that it is shaping up to be a nice day.

When my girlfriend snorts.
When the intro for an awesome song comes on and you know what's coming.
When you overhear a fat christian go "it's in my genes!"
That first sip of a perfect ale - perfect in both taste and for the weather.
People that get offended at my reviews (Though this and this is a greatness I shall never achieve).

Yea, but no. Its not. Something that makes you smile does not necessarily amuse you. Seeing a nice sunset/rise doesnt amuse me, but it makes me smile.

I work part time with...a challenging kid, and when she is happy or very playful, her way of showing this, always make me smile.

I smile when I see a rainbow.
