The Rise of Nations games are among my favourite games of all time, and now it looks like what tiny chance of a new one ever being made has just been shrunk to nothing

It wasn't an innovative game whatsoever... but it definitely gave an MMO feel to a single player game (for some that is bad, but it fit well with the game).
