If Activision stopped just for one year when making Call of Duty games... I think they can really work on other IPs.
Then again, Vivendi can sell for a butt ton of money (I would figure in the $10-$15 billion range)... but who would buy it? It's either going have to be a pretty big corporation... and I can think of ONE company that can definitely benefit from buying Activision... (I'll give you a hit... 90% of computers runs their software EVERY DAY.
Yeah, why not? Microsoft could lock in a deal and have the exclusive rights to the NEXT GEN Call of Duty and BAM. Xbox 720's sells like free hotcakes during the depression. I would see that as a very good move on MS's part and the Xbox gains yet another shooter exclusive (making that what? The 3rd shooter exclusive? Gears, Halo, and Cod?). Business wise, it would be an excellent move... gamer wise? I couldn't care much and it might even ruin the series even more (since there are a lot of fans on the PS3 too).
