The Playstation Store is a Goldmine

If you actually read the posts between me and zherok this is done. I'm done arguing with a brick wall. Do whatever makes you happy. And if you think most of the classics are 10 dollars physically you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm talking new quality. Not some used scratched copy.

Suikoden II still isn't. =/

One nice thing for those games in particular with emulation (or the actual hardware, of course) is you can do the save file transfer into the second game. And I assume (though I haven't tried it) you could PROBABLY get away with it for transferring the second game's save data into three (Suikoden 3 was probably one of the only games that supported PSX data transferred onto a PS2 memory card.) That's a bit more convoluted though.

Thought about picking up Symphony of the Night. That's been up on PSN for ages now I think.

So far as I know, PCSX2 is the only working PS2 emulator. You'll need to get BIOS for it, somehow.

I recommend the SVN versions, they're pretty stable, and a decent performance leap over the release candidate.

I read the posts but you saying "This is done, I am done arguing with a brick wall" doesn't win you an argument so I chose to ignore it since I felt it had little relevance to this debate.

And like I said, give or take for the classics. I said excluding the rare titles. That said, lets not forget we can get some of the greatest hits versions pretty damn cheap. Hell, I can even get FF VII for $10 on half.com (http://product.half.ebay.com/Final-Fantasy-VII-Sony-PlayStation-1-1997/2434&tg=videtails&item=342876960330) It may be the greatest hits but if you are buying on PSN, I doubt you care about that to begin with.

And yes, I will do whatever makes me happy. I have standards and won't be duped.

I'm not trying to win, child. I'm just done.

Factor in shipping and the time your waiting, I'd still say PSN is better. And that isn't new.. Digital won't ever break (unless your console does) and I've never came across a bug that wasn't on the disc to begin with.

Hm Can you redownload things of PSN if your console does break? I've never tried, though when I used to have a 360 I think you could as long as it was the same account.

zherok:
A quick googling seems to imply it's tied to the account and not just the system. Haven't tested it personally either though.
