The Playstation Store is a Goldmine

The whole point of what I was saying it is much cheaper to rebuild a PSX library through PSN than a vendor selling new physical copies. Pretty sure I dropped the whole piracy point quite a few posts ago.
Anyway I got Chrono Cross as well, can't wait to replay that tehehe
Oh btw Penguin they are compatible and transferable. You can move save files to and fro as well. The Vita is also going to be able to play ps1 classics.

Sorry, I tend to take an interest in things even if I am not a user, just because I like to stay abreast on what is happening in the technology world. I listen to an IPod podcast every week even though I don't use any IOS devices (Android guy). :P
I guess we were arguing slightly different points. No biggie. 8)
It's good to know you can transfer between devices. For some reason I have a feeling if Microsoft had a handheld, they would make you buy the game twice. :-\
Ashall:
^ You just need a decent sized memory stick. I think I only have 16Gb but that's the biggest Sony makes them. But you can just delete and recopy at a later time if you want to play it again. Just keep the save files if you were in the middle of a playthrough.
I don't think Microsoft could compete with the Vita and the D.S. Plus the hardware would most likely be crap and we'd have the whole red ring of death thing all over again. I hope for all the 360 players out there that your next console (whatever it's called) won't have the problems the 360 had when it first came out.
Also I guess they made the Vita compatible with PS3 games made to be compatible with the Vita. I don't have a Vita to verify but my brother was talking about it. I don't know how well the graphics are handled, but you can do it I guess. Does anyone have a Vita here, to confirm?

And if you don't have a PS3 you chose the wrong next-gen console. Anyway what I was trying to get at if you like the game, support the people that made it.
If you like it buy it, simple as that.
I mean it's t-e-n dollars... People can be so incredibly stingy...

Yes.
However, I do not own a PS3, a PSP or as a matter of fact a TV. While I'm not short on cash, I do not really entertain the thought of getting a whole brand new system to play decade old games.
Now then, get the lot on steam and I'd be more than willing to buy 10 or so titles for ~10 bucks each.
Ashall:
Then why are you even in this thread? I'm not going to go tell you to buy a system, so what do you want from me? Damn man... Do want me to tell you to do what zherok does? Rip the disc and play it on your computer? But that's way to expensive to do nowadays so go and be a pirate. I just find it sad when you do have access to PSN, you can't shell out 10 dollars for something you love. That's all; Sorry I rubbed you the wrong way with a two day old post.

There's at least 10 games in there that I would (or have) spent good money on. I don't even think about it as I click on them - like Chrono Cross last night - and it isn't until the day after that I realize I spent 10 bucks on a 13 year old game. Still, there are some timeless classics in there. Anybody else give into their guilty pleasures and thrown down 10 bucks or so for a game a decade gone?

Yup, already bought Final Fantasy VI to IX, Vagarant Story and some Crash Bandicoot games too. I'd like to get access to some of your games though, that is something I'd like to see change.
The real reason why it's good is because of PSN+. Bought a three-month-period and I've already gotten free games such as all the Crash Bandicoot games (only bought 1 and 3), Trine 2, Shift 2 Unleashed, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Then we got such games as Space Marine, Infamous 2, Darksiders, plus many more I can't remember after the Sony conference. And there are more incoming. Add them to your download list, and you'll be able to download them always as long as your PSN+ subscription is active.
