"900p" or 1080p monitor?

Saras:
The Dv7t Quad you first showed us would be mostly functional for 4 or so years for your work purposes. Get that.

1212magicman:
Do you think that maybe computers *well especially laptops, desktops not so much

have reached a peak? Not to sure if I'm going to see drastic improvement of a i7 anytime soon. Its possible to be faster, but it has to get hotter, and it just wouldn't work out on a laptop without water cooling, or a huge heatsink which is unrealistic.

MFW I'm right and they come out with i9's that are water cooled laptops. O_O

kitamesume:
they wont be needing water cooling, when it comes to laptop chips the designers are prioritizing lowering the wattage first which comes with it lower heat production. once they've hit the peak of that they start increasing performance little by little without increasing the wattage tremendously.

in two years from now the 14nm chips starts going out, named broadwell, it should be a whole level faster than this year's i7s and alot less power consuming and alot more cooler.

Man what year are you from?
It's 20-freaking-12, HP's are reliable now but just still expensive in my opinion.

Name 1 computer that is cheaper than the HP I'm talking about with the same specs. I have no idea where you're coming from.

Did you read the rest of my post anyway? Doubt it. That thing I linked doesn't have the same specs, but considering what you're thinking of doing, I believe it might be a better decision.

He has a 500$ off coupon from HP. So I suppose that's why we're looking at it.
