"900p" or 1080p monitor?

Lol yea the original price of the HP is like 1400$, but I mean, it has the same specs as the dell. But the dell comes with 1080P and a bigger hard drive with a lower price. Also my dad has a discount for dell at his job.
So I think I'm sold on getting this dell, however should I get a 15.6" or a 17.3"? Bear in mind, I do not care about added weight, simply speaking which one will use less battery power, and which one would be best for anime?
kitamesume:
resolution of 1080p looks best for anime playback, and a 15.6" would consume the least battery power.
so a 15.6" with 1080p would be the ideal screen, the 17.3" is still fine so long as the native res is still 1080p.
Saras:
You know, I'd probably go HP.
The name Dell "Inspiron" does a lot of things, but it doesn't exactly instil confidence. For Vostro, Latitude or XPS, I'd have to think a lot more, but I'd stay away from the inspiron series. Doesn't seem worth it, not at these price points.
However, that might've changed. I'm very much prepared to be corrected on this matter.

Saras you are right in the sense that the 17R Inspiron looks like total shit, and has some crappy specs.
However this laptop came out like a month ago at most, it looks sexy, and the reason why it still carries the Inspiron name is because they are trying to imply that it is a fast computer, in a non-fancy chassis. (same specs as the alienware series). But you don't have to pay for the super fancy chassis, but personally it still looks sexy. Take a look at it, its actually pretty fancy looking.

I assume the palm rest surface is smoother than it looks, as it's supposedly matching the black part of the exterior. As long as the keyboard is sturdy and the touch pad doesn't stick out too much nothing looks off concerning appearance. The silver parts covers just the rim areas.
