Yay or Nay? The Windows 8 Metro Interface
southerndoom:
I downloaded the beta or whatever it is.Its installed on my second drive.
My first thought was it looked like the 360 interface. It takes some getting used to.
It has potential to be cool if you have a tablet.360 phone etc all connected.
It might be to much for the average user to get used to.I love windows but im not
sold on this one being for me yet.I like a clean simple desktop and not a huge app fan.
I do want to use it a bit more and see how i end up liking it.

looking at the enterprise edition, the Windows To Go feature catched my interests. think about the ease of backing up the OS =O viruses, bring it on!
metro.:
Considering I've never actually gotten a virus...and I don't use AV...
Not a big pull for me.
Slysoft:
While I don't doubt that you haven't got a virus because it takes a special kind of person to get one, I don't know how people can know they've never gotten one if they don't run an anti virus. Malware can easily run in the background without you knowing. I just run a malwarebytes and spybot scan once a month but I've never caught anything.
kitamesume:
real good spy/botwares hides themselves imho, some even disable themselves during scans. ask real hackers if you wanna know, lol that is if you know what i mean.
