Ill be happy to donate so as to get my ratio up.  I asked to be notifed when it's possible to donate - which i was, but after only one day its now closed and i really wanted to get my ratio higher through it.  So is this a norm for this site - you only have one day to make a donation, otherwise bad luck?

Donations are open until the desired amount has been donated. If you're too slow, tough luck. There are quick donators.

They are currently closed for technical reasons, and will be open again as soon as we sort it out.
But they do fill up fast, and as it's our principle not to stockpile money we close them as we reach the desired amount.

So that can't be helped, you're either quick or lucky.
