If you have an extra surge protector just plug the Elements to that. My problem is that I ran out of room for those ;D.

For the enclosure, I said it was good. You just need to confirm that it's legit.

just buy an external and replace it if it dies... although i'd rather build a NAS with it going raid5 or raid1(less drives) for redundancy.

Already have a 6 point surge protector. :P
And enclosure is legit... sashamaru told me about it and he has one too.

I use one HDD at a time.. so they are sufficient...
