i wanna buy 2 TB or 3 TB or 4 TB depending upon what is the least cost per TB
So from which company should i buy? WD or Seagate? Please Give reasons to support your answers
I may also seed from it for 10-12 hrs a day
I currently have a 2 TB Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk and it's USB 2.0 but up-gradable to USB 3.0

I'm one of those that has had bad luck with WD drives: I've had to replace every one of them within a few months.

My main torrent HDD is a Seagate GoFlex 4.0TB USB 3.0 that has been online 24/7 (except for twice a week reboots) for almost 2 years now.
Since it now has less then 100GB of free space, I have added a Seagate GoFlex 3.0TB USB 3.0.

uTorrent allows torrent downloading and seeding from different drives and folders, when selected in the Save As window.

Of course I backup those downloads onto 2TB Seagate HDDs that are on eSATA connections.

I'm trying a couple of 2.5" Samsung 1TB HDD in my laptop.
I also stuck one in a 2.5" USB 3.0 enclosure for transferring 720p anime series and movies from the torrent computer to the one connected to the HDTV.

Let me get this straight. You're seeding from your drivers but you don't have an official driver to receive all incoming utorrent files? ... What type of WD series did you have anyways?

Dhruv:
I never knew Seagate released a 4TB GoFlex Desk too.  ???

Anyways like Tatsujin i'd like to ask you which WD drive did you have?

megido-rev.M:
I am not sure I follow any of this.
