Description: Suddenly finding himself in the Sengoku era, regular high school student Yoshiharu Sagara is about to be killed in the battlefield. He is saved by none other than the man who later becomes the infamous Hideyoshi Toyotomi but at a cost to the latter's life. With history completely changed because of Yoshiharu’s actions, he tries to make things right again but it seems that history is taking a different course than the one he learned in school. Nobunaga Oda is now a brilliant but young girl named Nobuna Oda. Yoshiharu starts working under her command, who nicknames him "Saru", to bring back history to its correct course and find his way back home to the present world.

anyone seen this yet? i just watched the first episode and it was fucking awesome! looks like it could be a gem in the season if they don't ruin it with too much pointless harem. the main character is cool as well, he's actually a man

I'm watching it. And I like it a lot.

Well historical facts are changed, and a LOT. But still it's interesting.

However I just don't understand how did they make Tokugawa a shy girl! O_O

Anyways will watch it. I'm sure it's going to be a good show.

That's because Tokugawa was a highly reserved man, overly cautious and fearful(?) until he was given enough power to start supporting Nobunaga openly and eventually he grew more balls and continued Nobunaga's ambition to unite the nation. Depicting him as a shy girl at start of the show seems a practical course, I seen Tokugawa's female depiction in other shows to be the same way, cunning but when it comes to confrontation, not very strong or stuff.

It's a standard depiction as over the course of time the female in another show also gained more confidence so I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't really worry. My favorite character from this anime will be Nobuna. Well she already is.

And one more thing confused me a bit. Bra in the 16th centuary? O_o

Anyways Nobunaga was a great man. He determined history of Japan, and why not even the history of the world. Those years in the Japanese history have some of the greatest minds in the world. One of them naturally was Oda Nobunaga. + Nobounaga is remembered as one of the best samurai. Or you can call him one of the most skillful swordsmen in history of Japan ever.

Corset was put into use in the 16th century. So I dunno.

There are and were many types of female undergarments besides corsets and typical bra's.
I suggest you do some research on that in your free time if it's interesting you so much, I'll hint to you that Oichi and Okuni also wore them, as well as Tadakatsu's Honda daughter and Ginchiyo Tachibana. That is to say from more known females in Japan's History, but that you should research on your own. Generally a lot of women used that type because it was more comfortable for movement for any women, especially in the field.

^ In that case you missed a lot. I'd suggest you look up some stuff about those ages, it'll be easier to understand this anime that way. And it will become more interesting. Well I think so.

Yeah, the main guy knows Japanese History so he will be giving out in0his-head info about Japan's History as he did already a few times, but he will try to avert the events to keep Nobuna alive. Just my opinion, dunno if he actually will, but that's how it looks like to me.

Yeah, I also wonder how will events go on. If they will follow history as it is, or they will change it and make a really reverse one.

Anyways is a promising anime, at least for me. And music is written by Takanashi Yasuharu which makes it even better for me.

I believe that instead of this being a Past Historical Event, he got dunked into a parallel Universe so changing the history for better or worse.

But then again I wonder. All of those epic figures are presented as females, so why was Hideyoshi a male?

We already saw a major change of a historical event in this anime. Nobuna didn't kill her younger brother. I think they won't stop only on this change.

And I have a feeling that Nobuna won't commit a seppuku. No, I'm sure she won't.

I like this show. The MC is awesome and most girls are hella cute. I don't know anything about the historical part, nor do I think I really care all that much.

the anime no doubt would be more enjoyable if i knew the history, so since its going to be airing for the next 10 weeks or so i might have some time to look up a little. it seems like it would be a fairly interesting topic anyway

I like everything about this anime.

And I like the fighting style a lot.

But now really they have changed history quite a lot. Though that doesn't matter. I like the results.
