Can't download at all :(

Hi, I just figured out you guys changed your site. I can't seem to download anything from the new site. I'm using bittorrent client 7.6.1. When I add a torrent it just says downloading 0.0% Seeds 0(0) Peers(0). This was the case for all the torrents I got from here. I seem to download fine on other torrent sites though. I using the proxy from the bittorrent client under Conecctions-proxy servers. I turned it off but I still cant download anything.

The trackers status says DHT not allowed, Local peer discovery not allowed, peer exchange not allowed if thats got something to do with it. I did not log on on something else account and I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything to get banned.

unless you've configured the proxy in the settings properly you'll break torrenting by just activating it.
considering you've already found the tracker status - could you post the actual status of the tracker (not DHT/LPD/PE - those are supposed to be not allowed)?

Thx for the reply, I fixed the problem. I reinstalled my bittorrent with completely new settings and reset my modem and it got fixed. Truthfully I still don't know what was up but it worked so uh well.

I am having this same problem.

Proxy Connect Error; connection could not be made because the target machine actively refused.

I have been all over the site, and I can't seem to solve the problem, I have updated my Utorrent, (3.2) redownloaded, everything people have suggested, and I still can't figure it out.

Sorry if I'm asking a question that has been answered a thousand times, but I have been trying to figure this out for a couple hours now.

just go into your preferences -> connection -> proxy server and set the "type" to (none).

if you set your client to use a proxy server, you need to configure it properly too.

What client are you using ? What's the tracker status when you download one ? Is it only leeching that doesn't work or can't you seed either ?

Unless you give some info it's kinda hard to answer your question.
