Demonoid is officially dead, who knows the best alternatives? (Open or not)

Pretty sure the site is still down. You won't be able to find the "completely random stuff that other sites wouldn't have" for at least a little while longer. It's just the tracker that's back up.

Well it's up, their tech admin brought it back to life.

The tracker is up (honeypot?), site and forum and whatever stays down for now.
