so which should i get? Currently, I am waiting for the iphone 5 buh i'm having second thoughts and wanna get the samsung galaxy SIII or should i wait for another android phone thats comming out. Gimme some advice you tech-savvy peeps

There is nothing iOS can do that Android can't do just as good if not better. Now factor in the much better customization options, GPS, and lack of itunes and I'd say it's no brainer. And that's before you even look at the design of the device (unless you like small and low res screens)

Iphones screen is smaller than androids but resolution is still higher thanks to apples retina display technology.
Anyways i would choose android they have better processors and 16-48GB of memory vs 16-32GB iphones.

tech specs on apple's website say the screen is 960x640. Most android phones coming out are 1280x720

Wait until October-November. Jellybean comes out then, and a bunch of new phones will too.

its about pixels per inch
apple screen is 3.5 inch most of its competition is 4'' +

I would say wait till the next apple launches their next phone and then decide.

I had a option of S3 and iphone 4s but I went with iphone 4s now. I wanted to wait till the new one came but I needed one. Also my bro has a android (sony Neo).

I have to save thanks to bigger screen and nice customization android looks nice. But I also like apples. I can't really decide. Both have something I would like to have but one doesn't have both.

I personally would go for the iPhone, actually if you wait for the end of the year round October rumors say the iPhone 5 will be unveiled. . . (as mentioned)

IF you get an android, the only android phone I personally like and consider worth getting is the Samsung Galaxy SIII (3)

thats the only one that I would seriously consider against the iPhone. . .

I mean you also have to think on what you want. . .
I like the current iphone screen, even if its a smaller screen that other phones, Im finding it rather annoying how if you see history cellphones were becoming smaller. . .but now smartphones are becoming bigger. . .Im not sure if they're mini tablets or smartphones anymore. . .

I would recommend iPhones, SiRi is one heck of an assistant, and I believe theres nothing comparable in Android

Android has google voice search which isn't exactly the same thing but functions basically the same way. I've heard that each are better than the other in different areas, but I wouldn't know because I don't care for gimmicks like that.

I have an ipod and an android phone. Tho the ipod doesn't have the phone capability, the design and functionalities are consistent across all iOS devices. And the applications are just too inflexible for my use. The file system alone already makes it a lot more useful than iOS. A standard apps ability to access the file system and basic functions makes android apps potentially more powerful than their iOS counterparts.

Granted, android apps don't look as nice, but any iOS app (provided that it's not apple prorietary) can be done by an android app, but not all android apps can be done on iOS.

Even now, they still don't allow third party browsers on iOS. If you were to benchmark iOS browsers from different developers, you'll find that they all perform EXACTLY the same because they're just different skins of the same webkit. The only exception being opera, and even then, they got around it because their browser is NOT an iOS app, opera browser is on a remote server that downloads and renders a site, and the iOS app is just a viewing terminal.

If you like the look and feel a of an iphone go with an Iphone. If you like to tweak and change your phone around go with the android. Both phones pretty much do the same thing as the other now. One phone is not better then the other across the map. its all personal preference

just because both use webkit as there underlying engine does not mean chrome is a skinned safari. Safari was built for iOS it will run faster as of now, chrome as long way to go to match safari in iOS but its a start to add features that safari was missing.

Unfortunately, that's just how it is. They cannot import the actual chrome browser because Apple won't let them. The speed issue is actually because they can't import the Chrome browser into iOS. And the webkit they're using in its place is a slower version of of the one used in Safari.

Is there a native iOS browser that does not score 324? The only exception i've come across is Opera, and that's because the Opera browser app isn't actually a browser. I believe there are other browsers as well that uses the same principle as Opera that are basically just client apps where a remote server is the one doing the downloading and rendering.

If you want to "game" on the device, iOS is better. As fewer publishers are willing to put their games in a non-microtransaction model due to the rampant piracy in Android.

Otherwise, I personally prefer ~~iPhone~~ Android. Why the fuck did I write iPhone here?

I'd have to say Andriod, but personally I don't see myself supporting Apple after that recent patent ruling. I'm getting real tired of their shit.

I've got an S3 personally.
