I cant quite tell if it is supposed to be like a dual 780Ti or Dual titans, I mean it falls between the two in certain aspects....

Also Noctua released their new flagship cooler NH-D15. Performance wise not much improvement but you get extra height for ram apparently.

Tatsu uses d14, right?

Yeah. Tiff uses the same one. Its pretty awesome. The ram I used is called G.Skill Snipers and its not low-profile.

I know the cooler is aweosme, but it still makes me cringe everytime I see ( well any large badass heatpipe based cooler). I actually like those all in one cooling solutions but not many comes close to D14. The closest perhaps is the corsair h105. Should be silent if you swap those stock fans.

Actually, I wouldn't mind knowing who is running what sort of PC, not for the e-peen waving thing, just on account.

I know that my PC is pretty ordinary, I still run XP (SP3), even if it doesn't have support anymore, it's still doing what I want/need it to..... for now.

A lot of people here will probably be running PC's that make mine look like a stone-age calculator. lol

If you want to see what I'm running, I can probably do that soonish. I'm not in any hurry.

which haswell thought? the haswell refresh is roughly 0%~10% more power efficient at high loads.

Corsair cases!!! Freaking wow. That small LAN case is cute!!!!! (230T?). And graphite 780T is big, badass one!

And there was liquid cooler for GPU!! Definitely the most interesting.

Well, there are more to come. I guess I have a lot of reading to catch up after exam!!!

all of the big manufacturers had started following the lead though, not sure how intel will react to that.
Z87 boards should receive a bios update to support devil canyon CPUs.

(click to show/hide)

not a bad price, now the question is up to what multiplier does this one have, 5Ghz should be easy on air, 4.5Ghz on stock cooler should be possible as well.
this would be the best legacy budget rig full of single-threaded apps and games, dorf would certainly love this a lot.

4K monitors may drop below 400 USD. IPS-panel and I'm sold. Of course, from Asus (if they're still good competition).

Now Wacom needs to come with a 4K Interactive Touch.

i'm up for VA panel instead, although IPS is fine, VA picture quality is mid-way between TN and IPS so its not bad, VA even has better static contrast.
VA has a slightly better response time than IPS, so it should be able to hit stable 120Hz if ever.

although 120Hz 4K is ridiculous, since its a part of setting out for long-time keeping might as well get a good one, and its not like you cant run a 120Hz monitor at 60Hz or so.

It's german and it also indicates that it might not have been "only" air. Pics have suggested a water cooling with the radiator getting ligquid nitrogen cooled air. Intel is still claiming it's only air though, so who knows what's true

I was able to share my drivers. I'm currently having trouble trying to make an admin user name where I can access it from my main computer (this one) so I can modify any files I want at any time. The "Everyone" user name is set to "read" only which is what I want. Anyone know how to set this up?

Make a new user on the machine that has the drives in it. Call this user share or something give it a password. The right click the folder you are sharing with everyone else and click secruity add the user share and give it full access. On your main machine open my computer click map network drive put in the ip address or host name or browse to the machine sharing the folder click the button that says use alternative login put the user name share and whatever password you gave hit hit ok it should mount it up as that user with full rights.
