Tatsujin:
^ Hmm, not my cup of tea yet. 1GB is fine for now. 10GB is ... maybe when 4K becomes more mainstream.

So I was thinking of what Google should really do about computers ... I really want them to develop a real OS that can compete on Windows OS level. I know there are those Chrome books or whatever but they're not as good and reliable as Windows and they don't have a wide variety of third party support.

kitamesume:
yeah 1Gbit is fine for 1080P and the likes, but streaming uncompressed 60Hz 4K would need an entire 10Gbit line and might even be not enough.

edit: well at least we got something to look forward to, i hope they'd become as dirt-cheap as today's gigabit NICs that're priced well below $50.

Mistgun_Zero:
I want ARES III. ;__; Damn thing looks so cool. I would say it costs at least less than Titan Z.

Oh yea, speaking of that, whatever happened to GTX 790? I wonder if they're going to release that.

kitamesume:
they already did? though its TitanZ instead of 790.

noted that 790 are supposedly two full GK110 die which is what the TitanZ is.

edit: i'm still waiting for a card which is as fast as or faster than the GTX770 for $250, hopefully it comes with 4GB minimum vram otherwise it'd be far too insufficient for 4K...
