Is there a way to make it pause in between downloads?

what kinda sloppy internet needs a download pause? if i could i'd download a 100GB worth of series in one go so that i wouldn't need to wait after burning through each episodes ._. but alas speed limits are annoying.
DTA should be able to DownloadThemAll, hah hah hah hah, im not kidding.
if you wanna pause then pause it manually, you got hands right? wait, tentacles sounds better.

Have you even tried the suggestions, especially the Firefox extensions.

Normally i would be happy to do that, but since i don't make the rules of the web sight I'm trying to download from. I'm going to have to pause it so i can get the file i want and not a web page saying i have to wait.And oddly enough if they start giving you these pages they don't stop till you stop trying to download from there sight. Generally i think they don't like people using such programs.

If you mean like the 'please wait 60 seconds before downloading your file' things you get on sites like Rapidshare, then JDownloader at least is capable of handling those - but I believe it only has full functionality when dealing with a specific list of download sites, so I have no idea how it would work if the site you're using is not one of them. Not sure about any of the other suggestions, since I haven't used them.
