Because you said it had a faster refresh speed, which isn't quite true. Most screens refresh at 60hz, been that way for yonks and in this regard the Lumia is no different. The time it takes for a pixel to change from one colour to another has been decreased to reduce motion blur when scrolling and viewing video's, THAT is the improvement. Just because a screen refreshes at 60hz doesn't mean the pixels update that quickly. You read the link I posted? They explain it all better than I seem to be

That's not mine. But in regards to my other devices (Phone, Tablets), yes, i lock them often too. Autorotate kinda gets annoying when you're picking them up and they keep turning away from you. As for his orientation, it's just preference, i personally prefer landscape because... hmm... now that you mention it, everything on my desk *is* landscape. The monitors, keyboards, mousepad, netbook, a portrait orientation isn't going to fit on my desk

Speaking of innovation, you seen the Lumia 920? It looks like it might be something of a dark horse that nobody saw coming in this one. If Metro pays off, they actually have been busy working on some nice features; a curved screen for better viewing angles, particularly in sunlight? Night-time photography? Augmented Reality? New tech in the screen that decreases the refresh speed so it doesn't blur when you move it? Not to mention that it's reputedly built like the old school nokia phones...

Depends on the situation. I don't fancy lugging my camera around with me everywhere I go which is where the camera phone comes in handy, but neither do I expect to rely on it when I'm going somewhere where I WILL want to take photos. The gap between a phones camera and a hand held one is rapidly diminishing.

Camera quality isn't just about the number of pixels though, so it is a little misleading. I have a 14 MP hand held camera, by partner has an old 10MP SLR. Guess which one takes the better picture. They basically slapped a giant crappy camera on the front of that one and then compressed the image to 8MP size; at 41MP the amount of noise would be freakin' stupid but when shrunk down suddenly a lot of that disappears. For a more realistic estimate of where we are I'd look to the new 920's night shots and video smoothing tech and ponder the Xperia's 12MP camera (which is actually meant to be a good camera, probably the best on the smartphone market right now). There will be demand for SLR's for a long time yet, we ain't even close to reproducing that kind of image but hand held ones? Yeah, not all that big.
