Ask an iPhone user why they like it: The answer will be "it just works" or "it's simple".
Ask a Galaxy user why they like it: It'll be all about the features etc.

It just blows my mind that people can think that a phone with less features, a smaller screen, and hardware that should be much better than what it is; is a good phone.

The commercials that Samsung is airing right now, smashing the iPhone, are absolutely fantastic.

Btw; I don't have a Galaxy, I have an HTC Incredible. But any person with the most elementary knowledge of technological savvy can see that the Galaxy and the Note are far superior phones.

suddenly the reason why people prefer the iphone becomes clear. . .

apple has always ALWAYS been into that "lets make it as simple as possible" idea. . . that "users shouldnt have to know what defragmentation is, the OS should do it for them" type of thing which TBH is very practical but yes, you have to sacrifice freedom/features for ease-of-use

Logic, reason and facts does not work with Crusaders. He's simply trying to justify his purchase to faceless people on the Internet and to feel good about the choice he made, like an insecure man looking for peer approval.

with the "ease of use and crippled feature" kind of thought shouldn't it be waaaay more cheaper? no, apple just slaps prices that breaks wallets.

yes, android CAN be configured into "ease of use and crippled feature", for cheaper.

edit: also, people still opt to jailbreak their iphones.
and no, the more feature something has the more complicated it becomes.

edit2: before people start saying "apple hater" yes i do hate apple, but only their price.

metro.:
Apple sells because they're actually just made up of 3 people that work on the phone, and millions of marketing people.

Indeed

There's also the thing with being unable to install other OSs, apparently, and tend to opt in jailbreaking the stuff.

well I really wont get too deep into this, but you just said, android CAN be configured into "ease of use", well yeah,

let me tell you a story:

--- Quote from: story ---A guy calls a technician to fix his computer
the technician goes and presses 1 button and the computer works
the technician charges 1000 dlls, the guy is in an outrage! why 1000 dollars!? I demand a note with all the procedures,
(click to show/hide)Pressing the button ...... $1.00 dlls
knowing what button to press. . . .$999.00 dlls
total = $1000 dlls

and thats the story :)

--- End quote ---

I hope you understand the message of the story. . .
if you dont
(click to show/hide)apple charges so much for the time they spend creating that "ease-of-use", and people buy it because people dont want to spend that time making it "easy-to-use"

now again, this applies to that 99% of the world that isnt computer saavy
