By asking that question you already assumed it to have "less", which is debatable. What you think is less others may think it's more. i.e. less fucking around and more doing(phone related or not).

What can you do on one that can't be done on the other? What does one have that the other doesn't? Is it worth doubling the price of a computer for a better monitor?

Ask an iPhone user why they like it: The answer will be "it just works" or "it's simple".
Ask a Galaxy user why they like it: It'll be all about the features etc.
It just blows my mind that people can think that a phone with less features, a smaller screen, and hardware that should be much better than what it is; is a good phone.
The commercials that Samsung is airing right now, smashing the iPhone, are absolutely fantastic.
Btw; I don't have a Galaxy, I have an HTC Incredible. But any person with the most elementary knowledge of technological savvy can see that the Galaxy and the Note are far superior phones.

suddenly the reason why people prefer the iphone becomes clear. . .
apple has always ALWAYS been into that "lets make it as simple as possible" idea. . . that "users shouldnt have to know what defragmentation is, the OS should do it for them" type of thing which TBH is very practical but yes, you have to sacrifice freedom/features for ease-of-use

Logic, reason and facts does not work with Crusaders. He's simply trying to justify his purchase to faceless people on the Internet and to feel good about the choice he made, like an insecure man looking for peer approval.

Are you referring to me? Suggesting that the iPhone and iOS are better than the Galaxy S3/Note and Android OS would be quite foolish, so I sincerely hope you're not.

It is not debatable. iOS is not open or versatile, Android is.
Galaxy S3 has better hardware than the iPhone.
It's got a bigger screen, it's faster, has more free apps, has ease of use with the whole... touching phones to send files, has the ability to expand memory by a pretty significant amount with SD cards, you don't have to use iTunes, etcetcetc. And it's cheaper than an iPhone.
The iPhone 5 is nothing more than an iPhone 3G with a better screen, Siri, and is square.
I'm not understanding how you can't see that the Galaxy is a better phone...

theres also the option of developing your own android apps, the programs to do it are free and open for download.
so whats in iphone? a feature crippled phone for 300+$ that no other option other than to jailbreak it for more features, find me an iphone brandnew for 100-200$ 1ghz 256mb ram WITH uSD slot up to 64GB, now that would be a bargain. oh wait, if theres no such thing, theres some on android.
edit: simply put it is like linux(android, literally) vs windows/mac or both(iphone).
to shut this stupid argument, no your reasoning about ease of use is not a valid argument, to point out, all i see on iphone's price premium is for the sheer E-PEEN of it.

as I said, linux/Unix is way better than Mac/Windows, I wont argue that, it has all the freedom any COMPUTER SAAVY PERSON might want.
but again, apple targets 99% of the population, that will prefer an iPhone, over that 1% that would prefer freedom (theres more money to gain from selling to the 99%)
well and larger E-PEEN is popular
and the iphone 5 starts at 199 with a 2 year contract, the iphone 4S starts at 99 with a 2 year contract, the iphone 4 is free with a 2 year contract. . .
so. . .
booh-yahh!
