iPhone 5 Is The Most Disappointing iPhone Ever?

Part of Apple's appeal is its prestige. What kind of prestige can you hold when you price your stuff that low? Apple would lose a subset of its customers and loyalty if they did that.
Doing it only to gain sales would be a very bad move. The short-term sales increases they'd get would not at all justify the loss of longtime loyal customers.
kitamesume:
its an example(its as if you don't know what "figure of speech" is o.o), if it'd go that low then sure, but even a 20% drop in their price it would've attracted as much customers as well.
the development of aiming for cheaper manufacturing costs still is a good thing for them manufacturer, they could either have higher profits by maintaining the price even with the lower manufacturing cost, or attract more customers at the same profits.
this is in conjunction to their usual improvements, thats why i said they should launch an R&D department just for the sole purpose of finding a way to make their future products more cheaper without affecting their profit.
edit: also in the retail department, i've witnessed shops who sold cheaper options(not necessarily the same model) have more than double the customers(hi CD-R king) in contrast to other shops with premiums on them.
megido-rev.M:
Possibly. There are also a lot of people who buy nice-looking stuff just because they're expensive, and those kinds of people likely come back for more.

The iPhone ads are annoying as fuck. The one with the "your hand was made for this" thing. Omg.
Shut the fuck up.

Lol, yup.
As opposed to the S3 ones where they basically openly bash Apple. Love those commercials.
