Some Comments on PvP and factions
yes, NC soft did it again, I will give kudos to this game for having AMAZING EYE CANDY starting with the girls being extremely hot, and anime-ish, the spell graphs and overall combat gfx, they look just sweet!

I guess the only thing that will make it different from WoW (sadly WoW is the bar) is that there are no set factions for PvP, only "guilds" or dojos or whatever they're called.
I believe there are only 2 factions in the PvE part. . . iono it seems a lil' complex and I havent read much on it
I kind of wanted to give it a try since Aion was pretty good (IMO)
BUT, its a korean MMO at the root, and I really dont want to get into it since my classes are getting harder

I really liked Aion, it was pretty sad its population dropped to 4 servers that arent even really "active" (or at least not the last time I played)
I might give it a try. . . iono

Anyways, that eye candy sure is calling me

Any game play available and classes? I think "factions" is not part of what I was questioning in my mind.

I'd say not really, they released Aion Vision and TBH its pretty legit, but I dropped Aion after the huge decrease in population,

IIRC it started with around 40-ish servers and the zones were instance-based (if a zone was too populated, the server automatically made different instances), this was kind of good and kind of bad, since it means there was a lot out-world raids and dungeons, which are pretty legit and add more fun (challenge) because you're fighting against other groups to get that boss. . .

but on overpopulated areas there was some sort of instancing, anyways that doesnt happen anymore
the population dropped to 4 servers, inflation went up like hell, I cant afford anything and prices just keep rising, things that were for lvl 30-ish are now un-purchasable unless youre on a smurf account. . .

but if you dont mind not being part of the "economy" I would recommend it, the Abyss is such an awesome PvP experience. . .specially if you do fortress raids. . .they are the most fun shit ever. . . you have to drop your graphs to super low in order to have a battle of around 100 vs 100 players all packed into a castle. . .

Aion was the best in the 1.5-1.9 era (at least in NA) and sucked hard in 2.0-2.5 or whatever it got to. I haven't played since 3.0 but I heard it got better. I just can't get into target MMOs anymore after tera. Even though tera had it's own problems the combat system was superb and I'm hoping they'll take that and make it more with blade and soul. I played an alpha version of BnS that was leaked on a private server but it was really buggy (to be expected)
