Can someone explain to me!!!!??

ok, i've been watching Anime for quite awhile, and I do love watching some of it, but some of these series seriously piss me off. Do anime writers have something against revenge?!!!! Why is it the villians/bad people can do any damn thing they like, but the good guy has to bend over and be nice!! For instance I just finished watching Sankarea(12 episodes), this father is sexually abusing his daughter, terrorizing her, chasing away all her friends so he can sexually abuse her, and at the end he gets no punishment! He doesn't go to jail, doesn't die!! He crys because he realizes what he did! REALLY! thats how it ends!! I see anime, after anime, after anime like this, what the hell are these writers thinking!! That bad people can do what they want, but those that are good, must not seek revenge! Thats why I tend to stay away from anime with villians, because idiotic thinking of anime writers when it comes to punishing bad guys!

I had the very same thoughts when I watched Sankarea! But I imagine that modern manga writers are having a hard time these days keeping up with demanding approval of publishers/bosses with new ideas/twist - unless I'm wrong and these writers are sadistic, then it's kind of sad really. I've dealt with these situations by rewatching some past nice anime, e.g. Azumanga Daiou.

That's how Japanese think, well most of them. Like I watched recently, episode 11 of Another (some of the bloody scenes are not needed) turned out like Battle Royale movie all of a sudden. You go freak out all of a sudden then kill your classmates, in reality everybody freaks out but you can't just kill someone in an impulse. I haven't seen Hunger games they said it's similar to BR.
Get used to it. My reaction is always "It's a Japanese way of life/thinking or Japanese are like that'. Aren't you notice that anime are into moe and boobs these days?

      Well i guess you've been watching only shounen anime. Those are mostly oriented towards kids or people in their early teens. I tend to avoid those, try watching anime like: Clannad, Steins Gate...

Blame mangaka, but honestly ?

I think that a young man like him solving such a difficult situation without actually using force is a lot better solution than solving stuff with violence. I mean, i seen a lot of american cartoons, and comparing anime to american cartoons, where every single problem is solved with tons of violence, I think having anime focus on oratory solutions rather than violent ones is a better selling point.

For Sankarea, what would you have our zombie lover do, that he could prove in court, or basically accomplish something tangible? He has no legal proof, Rea would probably herself not willingly help. So what could he possibly do other than live well in spite of everything?

We can only hope karma comes back and bites Sanka papa-san in the ass next season. But then what about all the sick Sanka relatives that allowed the original marriage in the first place? Obviously money is what rules their world, and how they get away with their treatment of the hired help.
