Winter 2012/2013 [v2.0]

It's nice to see the series descriptions have improved so much this year. They're still not great, but at least they're intelligible, unlike previous seasons.

Anyway, it looks like a fairly uninteresting season, all told. Haganai is of course going to be pretty good, Kizumonogatari is a no-brainer, as is the Hanasaku Iroha film (whatever that may be - this is the first I've heard of it), and I really absolutely cannot wait for Chihayafuru, but other than that, nothing really grabs my attention.

The usual Seitokai Yakuindomo OVA will be fun, and there are a couple of other series that could be interesting - Vividred Operation, Train Heroes (I know nothing at all about it, but trains are fun), Sasami-san (sounds like it could be really interesting if handled well, or incredibly boring if not. Telling the main story from the perspective of a hikikkomori watching from the sidelines is an interesting idea), and AKB0048 (the first season was unintentionally hilarious - I can think of worse ways to waste time than watching more of it). But overall, it's a fairly uninspiring lineup. Hopefully some more interesting series will be announced nearer the time.

It's a light season, but I'm okay with that. There's enough decent stuff for me to give a try.
