This is very off-topic, but a hybrid is just a spinning disk with a big cache; unless you happen to access the stuff in the comparatively small cache you have none of the advantages of the SSD. You might also want to have a look at the long lists of "disadvantages" that for example Wikipedia provides; don't know what that booze thing has ;).
Might be right for some needs, but overall the best price/performance combo for a demanding system at this point in time is an SSD system disk to get good system response (short seek times), and if needed one or more large spinning one(s) for large file collections.

SSD's have a lot of things to offer.
I actually use my desktop rarely now.
since i use as my primary system is my Tablet and my computer as a server for multimedia streaming .
and hacking and modding here and there.
so i believe that ssd drives will save me time on streaming (router as wireless net )
But i will probably look into the hybrid system .
i will like to continue this discussion but not off topic as here (though as i saw off topic is quite common on this forum)
i will post a topic in the Technology forum .
