It all comes together and makes sense by the end of the show, trust me. It just takes a slightly twisty route to get there.

Just finished it ... (click to show/hide)man this is really disappointing. Not just Maria and Mamoru disappeared but the way they died was STUPID! And their child died in result of thinking they killed their own kind ... I understand it's a psychological thing but what the fuck is all this shit. Right when Maria and Mamoru went off, the series went really well .. and then shit hits the fan once you hear about how they died at the hands of that DISGUSTING PIECE OF SHIT- FUCK YOU SCHMUCK MIDGET! - (felt better saying that) ... wow this is disappointing ........... but what not, most of this crap was rushed towards the last episodes. There wasn't enough room to seal up some of the loose ends. The only two things I admire are the characters and story ... the story, at least from their perspective and if you compare it to reality rather than miracles is rather good, but that one fucking part ... Maria, Mamoru and their child ... they could have done better.
urgh .................. I feel like I wasted my time ... but then it doesn't feel as strange either, I don't know. I need something else to watch and forget about this.

Edit -- Fractale had a better ending.

You could try: One Off http://forums.bakabt.me/index.php?topic=35675.0

It's alarmingly cute! Simple yet interesting.

Hummm, you commented on that thread, but idk if you watched it, so here's my $0.02 anyhow.

Have yet to see it, I'm looking at Bakuman S3 ... but I will go with One Off, I need to cool down ... I'm boiling enough thoughts about ShinYori.

megido-rev.M:
So, I'm at ep9 thus far.
My take (can't help it lol :D) ..

ep1-8: "Look at the size of those rats"
ep9: lolhomo

So, basically

- 1k+ years into the future when humans have psychokinesis
- science practically nonexistent and society sucks
- shit happens
