Well, I know what I think of it: a complete and utter mess. I'm not sticking around for more when the other shows I've seen so far were far more interesting from the start.
jaybug:
One thing I'd like to ask, WHY IS THIS SHOW SO DAMNED LOUD?!?
Slysoft:
I think this show is too intellectual for a lot of people.

(click to show/hide)I haven't read the book it's based on, but from what I can gather the world had a war between these psychics and non psychics, as you can somewhat see at the start of the first episode. The psychics won obviously, and have created this almost utopian world. But as many utopian stories go, once you dig deeper into the history/government it turns out to be worse than you thought (for example in No. 6). The people in charge seem to be ruthless as we saw when the new emperor killed 100 people who stopped clapping for him. And from what it seems, the psychics who are poor in skill or assholes like the 2nd guy are killed or banished.

I wouldn't say it is too intellectual, it is maybe too Japanese styled storytelling. Where the author leaves a scene, because if not, the reader would know what is going on, and we can't have that now can we? Jump from here to there, and make everyone wonder where the hell we are now. And why.
