Besides, if Saki and Satoru get "un-learned" I doubt it can be re-learned and they'd have to die... wait, who'd kill them? Suicide pills again? They didn't work on Shun... It would be too sad if they save humanity and then get exterminated like... Queer-Rats!

Also, Inui surviving to the fiend seems kind of suspect to me, and why are they even trusting Kiroumaru ? All of this looks sooooo fishy !

Things that make Kiroumaru suspicious:
- He knew humans refer to fiends as fiends. It is understandable if queerats can know humans don't attack each other from observation alone, but knowing fiends exist and what humans call them is not.
- He knew that the Psychobuster is a powder that needs to be inhaled, even though it was never explicitly mentioned. He could have figured it out from the explanation, but that as well is suspicious because that means he also understood the jargon the terminal threw at them during the infection explanation.

This show still has its share of animation errors, I hope they get fixed if there is a BD release =\ (Around 18:30 the injured eye is open)
We're forced to accept voice over errors since it seems they do things that way

Something that's been bothering me for a while are this new fiend and how it can ignore Death Feedback. Because according to the false minashiro death feedback is not part of the hypnotic stuff but actually a physical thing that you are born with. This means that to become a real fiend you need to have some genetic mutation that disables the death feedback. We have no idea how common this defect is because to become a fiend you would have to combine it with psychotic behavior. There could be any number of people who have it without knowing it because they never tired to kill anyone. Still the likelihood that Marias child just happened to have this defect seems very low.

For a while I thought this was a plot hole but it seems Saki have the same issues with it as I have So maybe we will get some answers to it soon.

Maria and Mamoru could have been taken to Tokyo to breed. Thus the mutation. Squealer would know about how to do this, they captured a false minashiro, and made it talk.

I didn't think of Shun as having been able to avoid damaging himself. And it does agree with why things kept mutating strangely in Tokyo. Also, I think as to why the general was there before was that Squealer knew about Shun not being dead. I guess you can't fool the peons, like you can fool the elites??? Squealer knew Shun was there, and tried to capture him earlier. But...that didn't work. Shun didn't want to go with them.

This has turned around to be an even more interesting series than ever to me. I can't believe I almost gave up on it back when.

You almost gave it up? I was hooked from episode #1! Oh there were some "slow spots" but (I thought) they were still interesting.

They spent all that time building a main character, I knew they couldn't just "toss him aside". The way he came back was completely unexpected (by me I mean)...

I think I have to re-watch Ep.23 to figure it out.

Btw, any ideas why Shun is not wearing a mask anymore ? And why he had one before ? I really thought he turned into some kind of monster and got disfigured, like his dog, but it seems he's looking fine now.

Unless he passed away and he's not using his old body anymore, i mean he could be in a sort of spiritual state or something ... can't wait for saturday !
