You can leech off BakaBT without an account. Since you don't have the means to keep a good ratio, it really is not worth your time to be a member, especially since being a member does not give you a whole lot of benefit.

You just have to learn to search the site without using the site's own search bar, since you can't use it without logging in. You'll also have to learn how the public tracker works (basically, you can't run any torrent past the end of the month without having to redownload the torrent file).

Also, be sure to pick overseeded stuff to leech. Some of the torrents on this site could really use some leechers.

Thank you very much for the advise! I completely forgot you could still download torrents without an account. I only created an account to use the advanced search functions and to have a look at the new releases, but it turns out I'm more interested in older stuff anyway! I wonder if I download something while offline, then log in, if the files I seed will add to my ratio...

Bozobub:
Yes, you can, although you would need to redownload the torrent file while logged in or it won't use your private passkey; being logged in on the tracker is insufficient, of itself.  Don't try use both the public and private torrent info at the same time, or you will be quickly banned.

That said...

Look, man, just about every user here has only so much storage space, and has an asymmetrical connection (much faster download than upload).  Your excuses fall flat, especially since they mirror leech after leech who has used the same damn excuses in the past, both recent and long ago.  You quite obviously never bothered to read any of the other posts on this same subforum, FFS and have never read the FAQ, or you'd already know BakaBT is a public tracker, for example.

If it's so damn hard, how come so many users (who DON'T use seedboxes or the like) have good ratios?  Mine - with no particular effort to pick specific torrents for good seeding - is currently 1.847 (3564.16 GB up:1929.42 GB down), with occasional bonus point redemption (2000 or so, so far).  It literally took almost no effort, just time.

Don't expect a pity party or handholding, simply because you're lazy.

If you are downloading anime you need a space of atleast 500GB for seeding purpose+Storage until you finish watching a particular series.
Why the heck aren't you buying an external hard drive since you don't have any drive space?

Yeah I just ordered a 2 TB external hard drive. I'm gonna be eating beans on toast for a month or so but I've been meaning to buy one of these things for a while now anyway.

Yes, that is allowed, but why would you even do that? Sounds like a waste of time to me, and if you think about it, completely defeats the point of keeping a ratio. Just stay on the public tracker.

Man, ever since you learned all about hard drives and externals, you've become really obsessed with the topic, haven't you? It's practically all I ever see you talk about, especially in the help forum.
