Watching unconverted anime on an S3? Possible?

Less processing power to resizing, obviously.

Bob2004:
Yeah, I wouldn't have thought even the S3 could play much more than low-bitrate 720p at the very most without problems, assuming you Canadians get the same crappy dual-core version as the people in the US, but it should easily be able to play 480p. I watch 480p anime on my HTC Desire all the time.

Tatsujin:
I tried to play a 480p TV encoded file from Amagami SS, or at least few episodes, I get hiccups every few seconds playing it through MX. It's a dual-core 1Ghz each. Is there something I can do to get rid of the hiccups?

kitamesume:
tone down the multi-tasking? =D

although i'm still curious, if those processors could manage Hi10P 720p that even zacates suffocates to do how strong are those freaking processors... my hunch is the refined algorithms of the decoders or something like that.

Dhruv:
Iirc S3 has a quad core processor. Should be enough to play Hi10P 1080p videos. I wonder why you are getting those hiccups.
