but its soooo big, and I almost jizzed

oh and my TV is sitting a lil far away (I turn my chair to the side and watch anime on my TV, like 5 feet away)

so, from what I read 1 monitor should be enouhg . . . so its better to shoot for a biggie? its cause I saw an asus for like 300 but it was fullHD (1920x1080)

or for the same 300 bux (or like 320-ish)
I could get two asus 23.6" (1080 Full HD)

but yeah, if you think 27 with 1080 is NOT worth it, then I might as well just get a 24" or something

I am usually positioned around 1.5 ft (around 45 cm) away from my monitor

If you want something big to watch movies on from a bit afar then just get a nifty TV. I don't find monitors bigger than 24" to be comfortable to work on.

Even if you only get just one you don't really need a huge screen when you're that close. Half a metre is not that far.

For that purpose, I personally prefer dual 20" 4x3, but for film watching, 27" may be nice. Here at home I just installed a 23" WS for watching and stuff, and am very happy. I've never been able to feel comfortable with dual WS, the physical distance from left to rigth edge just becomes too large...

Portrait mode?

megido-rev.M:
Will need a taller chair for that ;D.
Although, I rather keep the screen wide just because often enough lines get too long, which gets worse when diffing.
