Media Player Classic skips songs on Tokyo Mew Mew
IrkSplee:
Ah, so I'm not the only one who thinks so? I've seen enough threads (not here, but elsewhere) about how the only people who would watch an opening/ending sequence more than once are J-pop obsessed weeaboos, so I wasn't sure if I was alone in appreciating the music sequences and if I'd be sounding whiny for complaining that nyeeeeh my magical girl anime won't play its goofy bubblegum music all 52 times.
Granted, I doubt "Koi A La Mode" won any sort of award, but the song and animation are just so cute that I'm not going without it if I don't have to. =P
(Thank you guys for being so nice about this, by the way - I always feel weird posting for help on boards dedicated to media because I watch and listen to so much cheese, I expect the thread to derail into "we're not helping you with this because you're just going to use the information to indulge in crap". Never happened to me personally, but I've seen it happen to others quite enough, thank you. Judgment on media tastes for any reason is annoying, but I never see that here, so that's nice.)

Opening sequences can be viewed in two ways IMO:
1. Like you said for 'obsessed weeaboos' and the stuff.
2. Other's who just like music. I love music and I listen to various types so if there is a nice opening song (a nice video is a bonus), then I would definitely listen to it. Of course there are times I do skip it (usually when I marathon a series), but I do listen to it if it's nice.
Also, any nice anime you see, most of the time the opening sequence does have relation to anime. And there are times when watching with the opening sequence would just make it more exciting.

Don't worry about it, everyone here respects other's interest and won't blame you for something you like. Of course, we will give any advice you would like.
But what you do with it is your problem. You can either use it to help yourself or destroy yourself.

There was no need for your 'another note' Mistgun, the problem was solved and that is that.
