I think it looks cool.

I'd love to have one but at $20k there are a lot of other compact cars I would rather have.

If they could get the price around the $9,999 then I think it would be more appealing.

I think so too. I also think that $19 000 is very reasonable for a vehicle whose operational costs are about $1 per 200 miles.

I'm definitely picking one up in 2014. I'd rather drive this as a personal vehicle when I only need to get around on my own.

How do you maneuver that into a parking lot? I doubt they'll accept that in the motorcycle parking (too big! I don't think it'll fit) and riders get off their bikes to maneuver through narrow passages. They didn't show how well it'll do when doing a really sharp 90 degree turn into a parking space.

Regardless, the price for it seems very fair, at least by Scandinavian prices.

If they do get released here in Sweden then I'd regardless no way in hell buy one, but I can see the public for it.

Notice that they only show it traveling in a straight line. They didn't show it making any turns at all.

Also notice the speed it was going at. My guess the only functionality they've got down is its ability to not tip over from a rest position... at best. The guy in it wasn't rocking around at all, either. For all we know they just made a normal, slightly more balanced motorcycle and went straight with it. We don't even know if they've finished anything except visual design on it.

Honda CBR125. A 2000$ city bike that does ~~~100-120mpg~~ wrong gallon >70.

As long as it costs more than $1 to go 200 miles, it's going to be more expensive in the long run. 70mpg is approximately $15 for 200 miles. Theoretically, anyway, since this requires the assumption that the vehicle will last forever, which it probably won't.

Anyway, I'm more looking for a personal vehicle for getting myself around that won't be classified as a motorcycle, since that would require a second license. I'm hoping this one won't be, simply because you don't seem to ride it like one at all.

I took that question and submitted it on their webpage yesterday, The answer I got this morning is:

Personally I am not convinced because of his wording "will be able to take sharp turns" which implies that it is not yet able to do so in present time.

You don't need a second license for a 125cc one, don't you? At least you don't here, as it's basically an oversized vespa.

AFAIK in NA car licenses don't work for motorcycles, but the reverse is true.
